Terms and Conditions of Service
Introduction
Welcome to Infinite Automotive LTD. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our auto body repair, collision repair, and automotive maintenance services.
1. Services Offered:
Infinite Automotive LTD provides the following automotive repair and maintenance services:
• Collision Repair
• Mechanical Repairs
• Routine Maintenance Services
• Auto Paint and Bodywork
• Detailing Services
2. Appointments and Estimates:
Appointments: Customers are encouraged to schedule appointments for service. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on availability.
Estimates: We provide written repair estimates before commencing any work. These estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
3. Customer Responsibilities:
Vehicle Information: Customers must provide accurate and complete information about their vehicles to facilitate auto body and mechanical repairs.
Personal Belongings: Infinite Automotive LTD is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles. Please remove all valuables before service.
Approval: Customers must approve all repair work and costs before any services are performed.
4. Payment Terms
Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and authorized electronic payments.
Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late Payments: A late fee may be applied to invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe.
5. Deposits
Deposit Requirement: A deposit of 50% of the estimated cost is required at check-in to start the job. Customers will be informed of the deposit amount and due date before service begins.
Non-Refundable: The deposit is non-refundable once the vehicle is brought in and auto body repair work has started.
Cancellation: If the job is canceled after work has started, the deposit will not be refunded.
Application: Deposits will be applied to the final repair invoice upon completion of the service.
6. Parts Provided by Infinite Automotive LTD
Any parts provided by Infinite Automotive LTD are covered under the supplier’s warranty.
7. Customer-Provided Parts and Authorization
Bringing in Parts: If a customer chooses to provide their own parts for the repair, they must ensure that the parts are delivered to Infinite Automotive LTD within 24 hours of the repair start date. Failure to provide the parts within this time frame may result in delays, and additional fees may be applied for storage or rescheduling of work. If Infinite Automotive LTD notifies the customer that specific parts are needed and the customer opts to supply or purchase the parts themselves instead of having Infinite Automotive LTD provide them, the customer must deliver or procure the parts within 24 hours from the time of notification. Delays in providing the parts will result in additional storage fees or charges for delaying the work.
Part Authorization: If a repair requires parts that need customer approval, the customer will be notified with details of the required part and associated costs. The customer must authorize the purchase or use of the part within 24 hours to avoid delays. Lack of timely authorization may result in delays, storage fees, or additional charges for work rescheduling.
Part Liability: Infinite Automotive LTD is not responsible for the quality or suitability of any customer-provided parts. Any warranty related to customer-provided parts is the responsibility of the customer and the original supplier.
8. Changes to Work and Pricing
Customer-Requested Changes: If the customer requests changes to the scope of work or services after the initial estimate has been provided, the revised work may alter the original quote. The customer will be notified of any adjustments to the pricing resulting from these changes. All modifications to the original estimate must be approved by the customer in writing, by phone, or via email before the work is performed. Additional charges will be applied to the final invoice based on the revised scope of work.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations: Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours' notice. If cancellations involve third-party work or suppliers, a fee may be applied to cover costs already incurred.
No-Shows: Failure to cancel or reschedule within the specified time may result in a fee. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the spot or time frame for the completion of the work.
10. Storage Fees
Vehicle Pickup: Customers must pick up their vehicles on the day service is completed. If the vehicle is not picked up on the same day, a storage fee of $50 per day will apply. This storage fee will continue to accrue each day until the vehicle is picked up and the account is paid in full. Storage fees will be added to the final balance owed, and the vehicle will not be released until all outstanding charges, including storage fees, have been fully settled.
11. Account Settlement and Vehicle Release
Vehicles will only be released to the customer once the account has been fully paid. This includes all service charges, applicable taxes, and any storage fees incurred. Failure to settle the account in full may result in additional storage fees and a delay in the release of the vehicle.
12. Warranty and Liability
Service Warranty: We provide a limited warranty on labor for 12 months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first. Parts warranty is subject to supplier conditions.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, negligence, accidents, or alterations.
Liability: Infinite Automotive LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services, including collision repair and auto body work.
13. Privacy Policy
Personal Information: We collect and store personal information necessary to provide our services, such as auto body repair or mechanical services. We do not share this information with third parties without customer consent.
Data Security: We implement security measures to protect customer data.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Burnaby, BC.
15. Amendments
Infinite Automotive LTD reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes.
